Hello again Richard,

I want to send heartfelt thanks from all of us for the exceptional job Peru For Less did on our trip. With such a long and complicated itinerary, we fully expected a few hitches, but no, it all went like clockwork. We were highly impressed with your country, your people, your scenery, and above all by the courteous and friendly people we met along the way. Special praise must go to the guides Javier in Arequipa and Juan Carlos on Cuzco. They were knowledgeable and super friendly and helpful. Each area we traveled to was so different from the one before and we are glad we made an effort to ”do it all.” The planes, buses, and 1st Class train to Machu Picchu were surprisingly modern and safe, with good service. One of the highlights of the trip was on the 1st Class Train when the waiters put on a fashion show of Alpaca goods and did a Peruvian dance up and down the isle! Between all of us, we have an incredible amount of photographs to look at now for the rest of our lives, to remind us of the trip of a lifetime. You spoiled us, as we will never find another place to compare with Peru. Thanks again. All of you at Peru For Less are doing a 5 star job, for 3 star rates.
Many, many regards,
Maggie and her Group,Dear Richard,

We had a wonderful time and were very pleased with all your travel services. Everyone seemed to really enjoy what they were doing, were very knowledgeable and really cared about how we were enjoying ourselves. Hotels were great.
Have tons of photos that we are enjoying.
Hope you are over your pneumonia and feeling much better.
Thanks again
Kevin,Hi Richard,

We had a very nice holiday and thank you for all the arrangements. Your contacts and services were great. Our favorites were Cuzco, Machu Picchu, and the Iguazu Falls. We also really enjoyed Lima- wish we would have spent an extra day there, especially at the Second Home boutique hotel. Should we visit your Country again we will certainly contact you for further arrangements.
All the best,
Jane & Bob,Hi Kelly,
First of all, thank you so much for your help planning the trip. It was amazing. I figured you would want some specific feedback regarding the hotels and activities so here it is:
The transportation from the airport to the hotel was great in a really nice air conditioned car. The Arenal Volcano Lodge is beautiful; I don't know how it is only a three star hotel. The canopy tour was great (it was only the two of us with the guides so that was really nice). We thought that we were going to do the horseback riding to the canopy, but they informed us that the horseback riding was not part of the trip. The morning canyoning tour was my favorite out of all the activities. I loved it.
The tour guide for the hike around the volcano was great (very informative and you could just tell how much he loved the volcano and surrounding forest). We enjoyed the eco-thermal hot springs after, and we timed it well so when most people were eating we enjoyed the hot springs and then when we ate there wasn't anyone else there.
The transportation from Arenal to Manuel Antonio was a little squished. It was a 15 passenger van and they had it full. It took about 5 hours which is longer than we had expected to get to Manuel Antonio. We loved the Karahe hotel because of the location. It was great being able to walk out of the hotel down to the beach and then we could just walk on the beach to the shop areas and even to the entrance of the national park. The national park tour was nice and that is where we got to see lots of monkeys, sloths and iguanas. We were hoping to take a more strenuous hike, but that wasn't an option.
We got lucky again and we were the only ones on the snorkeling tour. The guide Tomas was super friendly and basically left it up to us with what we wanted to do. We kayaked out to the snorkeling area and jumped in the water for 20-30 minutes. Since it had been raining a lot the visibility wasn't the best, but there were cleaner fish that swarmed us as we swam around the reef area. I enjoyed being able to see more of the coast line and get some history from the tour guide about Quepos and Costa Rica in general.
In Manuel Antonio we did a lot of swimming and relaxing by the ocean so that was really nice. On the ride back to the airport we asked the driver if it was possible for us to see the Mormon Temple which is only 15 minutes away from the airport. At first he wasn't sure because traffic, but then he said that he could make it happen which was really nice of him.
All in all it was an amazing trip so thank you again for everything!
Katy and Bradley (USA)Jennie,
How often does something in life turn out to be way more than you ever dreamed it would? Well our trip to Costa Rica a few weeks age certainly did. We had two airline tickets we had to use quickly so we knew our trip had to be put together without a lot of research.
After a frustrating hour spent in front of the computer, I got discouraged and sent a quick email off to Jennie at Costa Rica For Less. The next morning there was a response from her asking if she could help us plan our trip. I had never done this kind of trip planning before and it was so simple, I wondered how it would all play out. She asked us what kinds of things we were interested in doing and she took it from there.
On arrival in San Jose, we were met by a tour guide who handed us a packet of vouchers and delivered us to our first hotel. From there, every pick up and transfer was on time and very pleasant. Every scheduled tour or hike was conducted by guides who had so much knowledge and experience it made our trip so informative.
We spent three days at the Mawamba Lodge at Tortugueros and that part of our trip was probably the high point. We were with one other couple and our guide Jimmie. The birds and wildlife that we saw and learned about was way more than we expected plus the lodge was remote and beautiful. Jennie even managed to get us back to Chicago and home before the 17 inch snow storm hit the area. We certainly would recommend working with Costa Rica For Less and Jennie for a wonderful experience traveling in Costa Rica.
Carole & MichaelHi Riva,
Our trip to Costa Rica was very good. We would have stayed someplace other than Tres Bandaras at Quepos, but all the other places were very good. We took lots of good photos. Also the drivers we had were excellent, particularly Francisco who picked us up at San Jose airport and drove us to Quepos
Thank you,
DeeRylee,
Once more a great trip. Being the rainy season (green season) kept the weather cool and the crowds down. Great tour guides and amazing country. Thank you for all of your help. Again I would recommend you and your company.
DavidRichard,
I can honestly tell you that we had the most wonderful honeymoon in history thanks to you and Peru For Less! It's no wonder you couldn't get a hold of us because we were constantly on a new adventure. The Amazon jungle was nothing short of amazing and I would very much like to go back there again. Cristina in Cuzco was wonderful and took good care of us. I was worried for nothing because the trip went off without a hitch. All transfers were there right on time, we loved our hotels and we have gained so many memories that I had to write them down just to be able to remember them all! Kate & Gerry are world travelers and said that this was the best vacation that they had ever had..
THANK YOU PERU FOR LESS - RICHARD, CAROLINA, LIZ AND NICOLA!!!
We will definitely recommend this company and their outstanding staff to anyone who will listen!
Laurie, David, Kate & GerryDear Richard,
The trip could not have been better; it was the best organized trip we have ever been on and we have done our fair share of traveling. It started out with a mishap: Delta did not leave Atlanta on time and consequently, we arrived in Lima three and a half hours late, at 2:00 in the morning instead of 10:30 at night. Yet your representative and driver were there waiting for us (I must say I was very pleasantly surprised). That set the tone for the entire trip- no matter what delays we ran into, the representatives were there awaiting us. As we found out when talking to other travellers who had booked with different companies, this is not a given; many of them were not picked up when their arrival was delayed. All the representatives were very courteous and helpful and went out of their way to make our trip pleasant. The guides were superb; every single one of them showed a passion for their work: they wanted us to get to know Peru and to appreciate its rich heritage and culture. And they were all very well informed and loved to share their knowledge. The whole itinerary was great, just the right balance between sightseeing and some free time. I particularly liked the idea that we were able to customize- I think that is a really great plus of your program. Again, many other companies do not offer that service as we learned from talking with others. Also, the ability to choose the hotels is a great service. I have to say that in most cases the websites do not do them justice. So, thanks again for making this trip a dream trip. I have nothing but praise for your company and have recommended it to anyone who will hear about it (and even to those who rather not!).
Best regards
Ella and Michael,Dear Richard,
Overall, our trip to Peru was a fantastic experience! It was a pleasure having Peru for Less coordinate our travel arrangements. Your representatives were always on time and very courteous and accommodating. A few things stand out that I would like to share with you. Upon arriving at the Tupac Yupanqui hotel in Cusco, I noticed that there was a curb that blocked entry for my wheelchair into the hotel. The hotel employees immediately made accommodations by lifting me, along with my chair, over the curb and into the lobby. Upon returning to the hotel later in the day from a tour of the Sacred Valley, to my surprise a ramp had been constructed making my entry into the hotel much easier. Two days later after going up to Machu Picchu, we returned once again to the Tupac Yupanqui hotel in Cusco only to discover that another two ramps had been built, one to provide access from the sidewalk, the other for access up the street curb. As a result, I had independent wheelchair access into the hotel. The train ride was an enjoyable experience. As I arrived to board the train For Machu Picchu, it became apparent that there was no wheelchair access directly onto the train. The employees of Peru Rail immediately offered their services to help me board. Fortunately I was able to hold onto handrails and climb up the stairs as my wheelchair was lifted in behind me. Once inside the train car, a young lady ”stewardess” named Cristina greeted us and provided her assistance. Throughout the trip, she went out of her way to accommodate my friends and me, and to make our trip most comfortable and memorable. Soon after we arrived at Aguas Calientes, your representative introduced me to a man who offered to assist me in navigating the trails of Machu Picchu. Another man (a policeman) also offered to help out. As a result, my wheelchair and I were maneuvered up and down the steps and along the paths throughout the ruins. When my traveling companions met up with me, they said that I saw nearly as much of Machu Picchu as they did on their tour. What an adventure that was. After returning to Cusco from Machu Picchu, I discovered that some parts from my wheelchair were missing. We phoned your company asking for your driver to look for them in the van. To my surprise he found them and promptly returned the parts to me at our hotel. For this kind act, I am very grateful. Once again thank you for your assistance in planning our wonderful trip to Peru.
