Hi there Bernard,

Linda on the Floating Islands of the Uros, Lake Ti

We are doing just fine, and yes, we miss Peru - the sunshine and the lovely people!

We would like to thank you for making our trip to Peru so memorable. Everything seemed to run smoothly and we were very impressed at each stagewith the handovers and transfers. All the hotels we were in, were clean andcomfortable. We would gladly recommend "Peru for Less" to all our friends and colleagues. As mentioned to you, we were initially impressed with the speed of your return E mails, and your knowledge, gave us every confidence.

We loved our trip to Lake Titicaca (had a little altitude sickness only) and of course Machu Picchu was most impressive, a dream come true! We had a wonderful flight over the Nazca lines, and the Ballestas islands were an utter delight.
We would love to visit Peru again, and maybe visit Ecuador too. We will most certainly contact you when we do so.

Once again, thank you for all your help.

Regards

Linda and Geoff,
England.

Hi Bernard,

Vinay and Sudha at the Galapagos Islands

Just wanted to say THANKS to you for another job well done. Last year you did a wonderful job on planning our Peru trip and this year it was the Galapagos. Both well done. Sudha, I and the kids just returned from the Galapagos and what a time we had. As usual, you delivered on everything you promised. The trip, one that we will fondly remember for years to come, was enjoyable as well as educational. And as always, it was a pleasure working with you during the planning.

As for the The Legend, it's a ship that you can feel very comfortable in recommending to your other clients. Yvette Hauser and her crew took great care of us, paying attention to every detail and ensuring we were comfortable and well attended to. As for our naturalist/guide, Jorge, we loved having him as our guide. In addition to showing us the sights, he also provided detailed explanations of why things are the way they are in the Galapagos. Given our science backgrounds and keen interest in this subject, we enjoyed and learned much from his talks. Between us, we now refer to him as "Professor Jorge". :) As for the ship itself, it has the amenities and comfort that of a large ship and yet the number of passengers on it is small enough to make it a more "intimate" experience.

Well, that's all for now. Just wanted to say THANKS to you for all that you do. Clearly, when we travel again to South America, you'll be sure to hear from us.

Vinay and Sudha,
Virginia USA.

Hello Bernard,

Tracy in Cuzco

My trip was really great. Everything that we had planned ran so smoothly. All of my transfers were on time and the staff was very helpful. The horseback riding and rafting days were great. The bus tours were thorough and I met some nice people along the way.

I'm really glad I spent the night in Aguas Caliente. That gave me the opportunity to do some serious hiking on Huayna Picchu. It was spectacular! I was also happy with both of my hotels, which were nicer than I expected for a "budget" tour. Thanks for making my trip so fun and easy! I will definitely recommend Peru for Less to anyone I know taking a trip to Peru.

Tracy,
USA.

Hello Bernard,

Corrinne at Machu Picchu, Cuzco

We were absolutely delighted with the smoothness of the arrangements youmade. All our connections were there and everyone was helpful and friendly. This was a major benefit for us as we were first-time travelers, not only to Peru, but to South America. We loved the hotels in Arequipa, Aguas Calientes and the final one in Cusco. We also were very happy with the hotel in Lima.

These are the things we enjoyed the most (not in any order of preference):

1) Machu Picchu - we really needed the extra day there, and could have stayed longer. It is every bit as wonderful as the pictures show.

2) The scenery and countryside - Peru is beautiful and we have only seen the south. Our photographs show how lovely it is.

3) The people - a big one this - your tour guides are outstanding and everyone we met was incredibly friendly. It may be that my small amount of Spanish helped - I found people most anxious to talk to me when they knew I could understand them and respond in their language.

4) The food!!! How does everyone eat three super meals a day and stay so fit? The food at Posada Amazonas was particularly outstanding.

5) The buildings and ruins - how impressive! We felt that we were seeing a surfeit of riches on our tour of the Sacred Valley.

6) The cities - each one has its own character. We thought Aguas Calientes was a blast! I loved Arequipa.

7) Your internal transportation is outstanding - very professional, very efficient - and the fashion show on the return trip from Machu Picchu to Cusco was really fun.

8) The organization of the tour - because it was so very smooth, it gave us more time and opportunity to enjoy our trip. We had confidence that people would be were you said they would be and everyone worked with us to make this a great vacation.

I'm sure there are many more highlights that I cannot think of right now - you can tell what a wonderful trip we had. We would not hesitate to recommend your agency to anyone who is interested in traveling to Peru and you are welcome to use us as a reference!

Now that we have visited Peru, we will be very interested and concerned about what happens in the future. Your lovely country's biggest asset is its people, who work very hard, especially physically, in the countryside.

All good wishes, especially for the New Year!

Corrinne and Michael,
USA.

Bernard,

Andrew on Lake Titicaca

I have only just checked my e-mails today on arriving back at work. Yes, we were in Cusco. It's a shame that I hadn't realised earlier as we could have met up. We spent the night in Cross Keys before going into the square which as you know was wild. We have never seen a party like it !

As for the trip as a whole we were extremely impressed and I would recommend you to anyone.

The hotels were better than I was expecting and the transfers were always punctual and very friendly.

We had some great seats at the very front of the train back from Machu Pichu (literally the front two) and the train down to Puno was also something else (more like the Orient Express).

Four days in the jungle was just right time wise but brilliant as we saw so many animals and birds. Again the people were very informative and friendly.

I could write and tell you about each stop we made but basically we couldn't have asked for much more.

We also got engaged on New Years Day at Machu Pichu so the itinerary worked out perfect for me to propose.

So, thanks for a great trip, it was good to meet you and if we come to South America again we will get you to arrange it.

Best wishes
Andrew

PS I'm going to get a recipe for Pisco Sour and get stuck into the bottle you gave us.

Andrew,
United Kingdom.

Dear Richard and Susana,

Andy and Mary in Lima

Thank you so much for everything! Everything about the trip was PERFECT! Everything went smoothly at Machu Picchu . Rossie from CAT Cusco was excellent!! She gave us her cell phone numbers just in case anything came up and I felt confident that even if there were to be more landslides she would have helped us to get up to or back from Machu Picchu somehow.

All the transfers went smoothly. All the hotels were nice and their staff were all very friendly and helpful. The entire trip was just one amazing day after another. Thank you for all your work in arranging everything and for being available to answer all my questions, even once we were in Peru. My wife and I can't wait to visit South America again. When we do we will definitely be calling Peru for Less again. As soon as we got back I started looking at your website again to see all the other places you have tours in!!.

Thanks again,

Andy and Mary,
California, USA.

Hi Richard,

Doug and the Guys at Machu Picchu

Our trip was outstanding. We all had a great time. Every time we sit and talk about it it is hard to say what we enjoyed the most. I would like you all to know we will all remember this trip as one of our best. The quality of tour guides you employ is truly world class. I don't remember all the names but they all did a great job. The white water rafting showed the Valley from a diffrent view then we had seen the day before. The tour guide we had for Machu Pichu was outstanding. Everything was great- we do not have a bad comment. The Hotel Novel was our favorite. Local artists, music, and food was great. Your organization should be proud of the whole team in Peru. Richard, I would also like to thank you for making the last minute arangments for us in Lima. It was well worth the money. We loved the Gold Musium exibit. It showed us there was so much more before the Incas. Thanks again for creating memories of a life time with us.

Doug,
Lisbon, Iowa.

Hi Richard and Pauline,

Amitha, Ramesh, Gautham, Prashant, and Amit on the

We had a wonderful time in Peru. Most of all, we immensely enjoyed the Salcantay hike (Thanks to Richard for suggesting it to us!). All our pick-ups and drop-offs were on time, and the briefings were good and covered all the important things we needed to know. We'd like to mention that Christina did an awesome job on making sure we got on our Cusco tour (as LAN messed up our flight reservations), and she gave us good tips on shopping and dining. Claudia from the Lima office was also very helpful and gave us a great briefing.
Last, but not the least, we've like to mention that Maria and Derik made our Salcantay hike a great experience. Overall we've bought back some great memories from Peru! So, thank you all once again!

Amitha,
Santa Clara, CA.

Hi Richard,

Earl, Sharon, Dan, and Gwen

The trip was a great success. All of the PFL (Peru for Less) staff was great. The private tour guides and the accommodations were the best. We highly recommend this tour and PFL. The PFL staff was able to accommodate our late arrival into Lima by booking an extra night room and transportation for the continuation to Cusco the next day. Finding that our return flight was very late, PFL was able to book the Lima city tour including the Archeological museum. I highly recommend this as it helps fill in the whole history of the region. There were four in our little group and the transportation and tours worked out perfect. We really got to experience the Peruvian culture and understand a little bit better the history of the Incas and their predecessors.

Earl, Sharon, Dan, and Gwen,
Valparaíso, IN and Grand Marais, MI.

Dear Richard,

Oliver and Company on Vacation

We are back in Malta! We would like to thank you and your team for a most enjoyable vacation. Considering the many countries (Peru, Chile, Argentina, and Brazil) we visited, and the 14 flights we took, all went well. Hotels were of a good standard with the 'Emperador' in Buenos Aires being exceptional value. We were always met on time by extremely competent guides. Transport used was always clean and comfortable. Once again, thank you for a great vacation and I will certainly recommend Peru For Less to those who would like a stress free holiday in South America.

Oliver,
Malta.
