JetBlue is planning on starting flights from the US to Costa Rica. This would be the company's first flight to Latin America. Beginning in March, there will be round trip flights between Orlando and San Jose. JetBlue is planning on using its 100 seat Embraer E190 jets. The Costa Rican Government has called for the treasury to find $18 million in order to fund the modernisation of its identity card system. The call comes after dated technology used to produce the cards currently is becoming increasingly derelict and prone to malfunction.
